The Phillis Wheatley Book Award is given to books published within the last five years that cover the topic of American slavery (history, genealogy, economics, social impact, etc). To submit a book for consideration, please clickhere. You may also send a copy of the book or galley proof to P.O. Box 5002, Trenton, NJ, 08638. We are asking for a submission fee of$30 for each book. The submissions are due by March 31, 2024. Any submission after that date will be considered for the next year.
